Having experienced a taste of basic goodness in Level I, we want to learn more. Meditation practice allows us to observe how we create a cocoon of habits to mask underlying fear. We begin to appreciate that there is no fundamental obstacle to experiencing basic goodness.

Throughout the weekend, we will intensify the discipline of meditation practice, which enables us to work with the obstacles that arise as meditation practice develops. Explore how habitual ways of thinking and experiencing obscure the raw brilliance of the world we live in and our own genuineness and tenderness. Moving forward out of these habitual patterns, we learn to work with the fear that arises.

Shambhala Training Level II will be taught by Madge Rossinoff from Peacham, VT.

Madge Rossinoff began her life-long study with the Tibetan Buddhist meditation master, Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche, 40 years ago and has since studied and practiced Shambhala Buddhism. Madge teaches meditation, leads Shambhala Training programs and is currently the Director of Culture and Decorum for the St. Johnsbury Shambhala Center.  Madge loves tango, salsa dancing, growing food, and living in Vermont!  She now lives in the little village of Peacham with her husband, where they grow vegetables, carry wood, and enjoy the natural beauty of the land.

Please register by June 15th so we can ensure that enough participants are available to take this program.  A minimum of 8 participants are needed.   THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO INSUFFICIENT REGISTRATION NUMBERS.  THE BURLINGTON SHAMBHALA CENTER IS HOSTING A LEVEL 2 JULY 6-8, PLEASE CHECK THEIR WEBSITE FOR DETAILS.
